Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory

The primary objective of this lab is to demonstrate geotechnical engineering practicals. The lab involves study of earth materials in the context of engineering investigation, design and construction. Available testing equipment like direct shear test, permeability test, core cutter appartus ranges from standard devices and soils laboratory infrastructure to state-of-the-art soil and aggregate testing systems. The various practicals performed in the subject is useful for design, execution and analysis of structures.
