Engineering Mechanics Laboratory

The objective of this lab is to understand the basic principles in the areas of strength & Mechanics of Materials and Structural Analysis to the students through a series of experiments. In this lab the experiments are performed to measure the mechanical properties of the materials such as Tensile & compressive strengths, Young’s Modulus, rigidity Modulus, Impact Strength, Hardness, etc.
To study the mechanical properties of material used in engineering field. To study the mechanical behavior of the material against sudden shock and impact loads in dynamic nature. To study the deflections of beams under concentrated loads .To understand the hardness properties of material against indentation.
