The 3 years Diploma programme in Computer Engineering is meant for the students who have passed 10th standard. In an outstanding education environment complemented by superior teaching for its students to flourish in the program, the major areas of teaching include Algorithms, C Programming, Object Oriented Programming, Operating System, Data Structures, Computer Security, Software Testing, RDBMS, Microprocessor, Computer Networks, Graphics, Computer Hardware &Maintenances, etc.The aim of Diploma Course is to strive for excellence in creating, applying and imparting knowledge in computer engineering through comprehensive educational programmes and service to professional societies, the community and the Nation.

  • PSO1: Computer Software and Hardware Usage: Use state-of-the-art technologies for operation and application of computer software and hardware.

  • PSO1. Categorize and explore computer problems and prepare algorithmic/system model for the solution to the problem.

  • Basic knowledge: An ability to apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering to solve the engineering problems.
  • Discipline knowledge: An ability to apply discipline - specific knowledge to solve core and/or applied engineering problems.
  • Experiments and practice: An ability to plan and perform experiments and practices and to use the results to solve engineering problems.
  • Engineering Tools: Apply appropriate technologies and tools with an understanding of the limitations.
  • The engineer and society: Demonstrate knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to engineering practice.
  • Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge and need for sustainable development.
  • Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.

The purpose of this laboratory is to train the students to be familiar with the software and hardware of microprocessors so that they can gain enough experiences to meet the demand of the microprocessor era and principles of combinational and sequential digital logic design and optimisation at a gate level ."
